BuildCore Asia has appointed Tan Wei Ming as Regional Chief Executive Officer as the company accelerates expansion across Southeast Asia’s infrastructure and urban development sectors.
Based in Singapore, Tan will oversee operations across six Asian markets and lead the company’s strategy in transport infrastructure, industrial construction and mixed-use development.
He joins BuildCore Asia after more than two decades in the engineering and construction industry, most recently serving in a senior leadership role with a major international contractor operating throughout the region.
The appointment comes as governments across Southeast Asia continue to increase investment in transport networks, energy infrastructure and urban regeneration projects. BuildCore Asia said Tan’s experience delivering large-scale infrastructure programmes and managing multinational project teams would support the company’s next phase of growth.
“Asia remains one of the world’s most dynamic construction markets, and we see significant opportunities across both public and private sector development,” Tan said.
BuildCore Asia currently has projects underway in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines.
The company said strengthening regional leadership was a priority as project pipelines continue to expand throughout 2026.
